About this page

Welcome to the Graduate Mentor resource page for incoming students!

O-Week 2009

Orientation Week will take place this year on August 25-September 1, 2009. Following the guide of the very successful undergraduate program of Student Advisors, we are now organizing Graduate Mentors to introduce new students to Jacobs and Bremen life.

Visit the O-Week 2009 page here.

Graduate Mentors

My chief want in life is someone who shall make me do what I can. - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Graduate Mentors will provide much needed contact to incoming graduate students during the summer and in person during O-Week 2009. If you choose to sign-up for a Mentor, he or she will initiate email contact with you during the summer and will meet you on campus during O-Week. On campus you will have a GSA sponsored lunch with your Mentor and further joint activities can be decided by you and your Mentor. If you will not be able to make it to O-Week, our Mentors are available by for email only contact as well.

Our mentors are all active members of the graduate community and are available to answer all of your questions and concerns and to introduce you to campus and Bremen life so that you don't have to do it alone.
