There is a change in procedure this year regarding the “Rights of IRC Staff for IRC Operations” (aka IRC Rights Agreement, see Forms).
In the previous years, signing this document was a necessary prerequisite for immatriculation of (new, incoming) students.
After deliberation with the data protection officer, this agreement will no longer be distributed to incoming students, signing it is no longer a prerequisite for immatriculation, and the signing status need not be record in CampusNet.
An upcoming revised Telemedia Guideline will set the legal foundation regarding use and management of IT/Tk infrastructure and services for employees, students, and guests alike.
