On Saturday, September 21, 2019, shortly after 8 pm network connectivity and most servers went down. 

The issue has been resolved and network connectivity as well as important servers have been restored to a working condition on Sunday, September 22, 2019, at around 10:30 am.

Missing servers are being restored during the day.

This incident is not related to the recent cyber attack.


  1. Network connectivity is still not working (maybe it’s just my devices only). I checked in both Krupp E and the library

    1. wifi in library seems to work fine (written on mobile in library :-) )

  2. If this series of problems continues, the IT team should consider moving into Campus Center with their families (wink)

  4. Dear IT Support colleagues,

    CampusNet ticket system is down. The error message is "Can't connect to MySQL server on '' (115)". I wrote a ticket to IT Support this morning only realizing now, that that ticket system might also be affected.

    CN2AD is also down or switched off, it seems.
