I came across this course (https://missing.csail.mit.edu/ https://missing.csail.mit.edu/) that some of  the MIT PhD students put together for their CS students. Something like  this would be very useful for the DE students too. At MIT this is a  course without credits during the intersession !! provided by Prof. Vikram Unnithan
