Dear students, A colleague, who recently accepted a professorship for Biodiversity Theory in Oldenburg, has three open PhD student positions, which might be of interest to you. Best wishes, Marc Hütt ---------- e-mail by Professor Gross -------------- I am currently advertising three (very attractive) PhD positions, which will form the core of my new lab in Oldenburg.…
[EDIT: Student job 1 is closed, but student job 2 is still open] Student job 1: In a research project on disease associated genes I have the following job advertisement for a Data Engineering student (volume 10hrs/week, duration 2-3 months): Creating a website capable of sending parameter choices to run (existing) python code and then displaying the results on the website. Note: A simple solution is the 'binder' framework, but this is *not* what we are looking for.…
MIT Course
I came across this course (https://missing.csail.mit.edu/ https://missing.csail.mit.edu/) that some of  the MIT PhD students put together for their CS students. Something like  this would be very useful for the DE students too. At MIT this is a  course without credits during the intersession !! provided by Prof. Vikram Unnithan
