As of April 2006, the
- eight members of IRC-IT (incl. CTO and CLAMV systems manager,) care for
- ~1,200 client computers in IUB's data network,
- nearly a hundred central machines (servers, firewalls, Internet connection, monitoring systems, service controllers, research group servers, ...), with various service levels and for various customers,
- three compute clusters (sum. 192 CPUs),
- one SMP computer (24 CPUs),
- two teaching labs;
- two telephone hubs,
- 1,460 phones and
- 45 mobile phones,
- voice boxes, fax, and computer telephony integration;
- 3,500+ connected network wall outlets,
- 89 manageable workgroup switches,
- 32 WLAN access points,
- one central network switch,
- one VPN concentrator.
